The Lareka BTB25 can now handle flowpacked chocolate bars. Until now, this bar wrapper could exclusively be used for single-stage foil/film and paper wrapping and double-stage cardboard packaging. This upgrade enables running flowpacked chocolate bars through the machine. The customer can choose to wrap a cardboard box or sleeve around the flowpacked tablet.

Versatile BTB25 for napolitains bars and tablets

Lareka has expanded the product size range of the world's most versatile chocolate bar wrapper. The original size range of the machine was already large; with a min. size of 25x30mm and max. size of 100x200mm. this machine was able to handle almost all sizes of bars and tablets. The question we often received was about napolitain packaging on the BTB25. As we are known, we have successfully responded to the market by pushing the boundaries of the size range. It is now possible to wrap mini bars (napolitains) as small as 25x30mm. on the Lareka BTB25.

This wrapping machine is all a craft chocolate maker needs to cover the entire product range! From small to big chocolate bars and tablets, you can wrap them with the Lareka BTB25.

Wrapping chocolate bars in cocoa shell cardboard

The BTB25 handles a variety of wrapping materials. This allows chocolate makers to choose from a long list of packaging materials for the inner layer; aluminum foil, biodegradable film, transparent film, or any other material that blocks fat and can be folded for the inner layer.

As for the outer layer, you can use paper, cardboard, and now even cardboard made of the waste of cocoa shells. And who doesn't want to wrap their artisan bar in a circular and innovative wrapping?!

BTB25 for Tony's Chocolonely | Custom chocolate wrappers

Lareka developed a BTB25 for the packaging of personalized Tony's Chocolonely wrappers. This BTB25 wraps the personalized paper labels around the bars wrapped in aluminium foil. The computer is integrated into the machine so that the batch of the bars can be scanned (QR) and traced. The inkjet printer is integrated to print the expiration date and batch code on the wrappers.

This special project shows Lareka's ability to think outside of the box in order to create customized packaging solutions.

Installation of the BTB25 at chocolatier Bernachon

On the day of installing the BTB25 in Lyon, a film crew (M6, France) was there to shoot a documentary about artisanal production companies. We (Lareka) have received the footage from M6 (Groupe M6), and are very thankful for that. The documentary was a big success with over 2.6 million viewers.

Two Stage Packaging: Glassine Paper and Cardboard

BTB25 FOR QUINTA DE JUGAIS (ALMA CACAU) - PORTUGAL For Quinta de Jugais, the BTB25 wraps the chocolate bars in recyclable glassine paper and a reclosable cardboard box. In the first stage, the glassine paper is wrapped around the chocolate bar. In the second stage, the bars, now wrapped in an envelope wrapping of glassine paper, are wrapped in cardboard.
